Construction Specifications
Wood Species:
All exposed solids are kiln-dried birch free of structural defects.
All
non-exposed solids shall be sound grade, kiln-dried hardwoods.
Top Construction:
Veneered tops, construction-grade MDF core with density factor
of 750-kg/m

Plywood backer to balance the overall thickness of ¾ shaped and
finished. 1 - 1½ specified hardwood strips on four sides.
End Panels:
Veneered contract grade MDF. All exposed edges have ½ solid wood
edge, overall thickness 3/4 inch.
Drawer Construction:
Front construction veneered MDF, ¼ solid wood banding for
protection. Overall thickness is ¾.
Box Construction:
Drawer sides, back, and bottom are plywood with dovetail joints.
Drawer fronts are glued and for added strength screwed with three screws to
drawer bottom and sides.
The drawer bottom is grooved and glued on all four sides.
All
interior surfaces are sanded smooth and sealed. Drawer glides are 75 lbs rated, ¾
extension.
Back Panels:
Back panels are recessed 1 on all cases and the lower portion of the
armoires. Back panels are grooved and nailed.
Case Construction:
Dowel construction is utilized to provide maximum durability
and stability.
here is a full top front and back rail in all cases. All cases are secured
with corner blocks, screws, dowels, and glue.
Additional Information:
Items such as desks, occasional tables, activity, and coffee
tables are perimeter banded with ¾ solid birch.
The legs are secured using corners,
glue, screws, and two lag bolts for maximum strength and stability.
All cases are
solid birch. There is no MDF exposed to the floor.
Headboards:
Wall-mount items utilize a solid cleat. All panels are solid birch;
all
crowns are solid wood. Some panels are contract grade urethane (where specified).
Optional:
Wilsonart or Formica laminate surfaces made to match furniture or 3/16
tempered glass.

Payment Terms:
100% balance due to a purchase order for samples.
50% deposit with purchase order adjusted for sample order if appropriate.
Balance due on shipping unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices are past due on the 11th day and are assessed at a 1.5% service fee on the
unpaid balance for each 30-day period thereafter.
Scheduled Delivery:
Regency Furniture accepts no responsibility
for delays beyond their control.
Freight Charges:
All shipments are quoted delivered to the clients' warehouse or
project site,
unless otherwise agreed in writing. Regency Furniture will arrange
transport and notify the appropriate party 1-2 days prior to delivery.
